A Case for Grabbing the “Fun Shoe”

After years of calls for “quiet luxury” and “chic minimalism” I’m making a case for the fun shoe. My argument; you definitely don’t need a whole new wardrobe to make the fun shoe a staple. Keep your creams, chocolate brown, gray and black but throw on a little razzle dazzle and add some joy in dressing. This is an easy swap. If you were already going to wear a sky high heel why not make it worth it? If you’re wearing jeans and a tee, command some attention in an adorable flat or sneaker. Not every shoe needs to fit in and simply “do its job.” Sometimes we need it to lift us up in more ways than one.
